Wanderburg Harvester: Enemy Identification & Quest Help

Identify the Harvester quest target, avoid confusing it with treasure vehicles, and work through a kill counter that is not increasing.

Updated

For the Harvester kill quest, look for a large, slow enemy with a long spiked roller at the front. That is the identification given by a player answering the “What are considered Harvesters?” question . The PlayerTome enemy entry describes the same front drum. A large vehicle carrying treasure is not enough to identify your target.

Find the distinguishing feature: Community reports describe a long spiked roller at the front.; Compare one kill with the objective: Record the counter first; check it again after defeating the target.; If the count stays unchanged: Check the enemy identity before repeating the same encounter.

Which enemy counts as a Harvester?

The useful feature is the front roller, rather than the size of the castle or the presence of tracks. The player asking for help had reached 3/5 on a kill-five-Harvesters objective, then found that destroying more of the treasure vehicles they had chosen did not advance it. The reply points to the slow roller-front enemies on the first level.

Start with that enemy identification and check one result before trying to farm the remaining kills. The community post does not specify a game version, so it supports the target description rather than an exact spawn timetable.

What to do when the Harvester counter does not move

  1. Read the active objective. The reported task asks for five kills overall. If your objective uses different wording, follow that wording rather than treating every enemy task as the same challenge.
  2. Note the current count. For example, a displayed 3/5 gives you a clear starting point for the next encounter.
  3. Defeat a roller-front target and compare the count. Do not use another treasure carrier merely because it looks equally large.
  4. Use the result to choose your next step. A change to 4/5 identifies a useful target for your run. If it stays at 3/5, check the objective and enemy again; repeated kills of an unconfirmed target will not tell you which part is wrong.

If the matching target still gives no progress, record the map, installed version and counter before and after the kill for a bug report. A stalled counter alone does not prove a bug: the original question shows how an enemy mix-up can produce the same symptom.

Harvester, Ernter and the module menu

The Harvester in the reported kill objective is an enemy target. Looking through purchasable modules will not resolve that particular task. If you arrived through “Wanderburg Ernter,” compare the objective in your game with the target description above; the sources used here do not establish the current German UI label.

For weapons you equip yourself, use the module effects and reroll reference. For a run plan while working on enemy objectives, see the build guide.

Verification notes

The linked Reddit question and reply supply the five-kill problem and target-identification advice. PlayerTome corroborates the enemy category and front drum; its additional timing and resistance values are not needed for this guide. This page explains how to distinguish a target-selection problem from an unchanged counter; it does not promise a fixed spawn time or claim a run tested by this site.
